Our firm
100% Sri Lankan natural rubber (no fillers, no toluene like the Indian
rubber, and no ash). See our rubber story. We take a 4.5" rubber core and
wrap it in our unique quilted outer to create a 5.5-6" mattress. The
higher the mattress, the less safe it is as your baby grows. We quilt
together a layer of organic cotton fabric, organic batting, organically
processed wool from organically raised sheep, and our attractive European
organic cotton Pure-Rest fabric. By quilting all this together we can use
more topping materials to give you longevity and provide a uniform
supportive sleeping surface.
Our mattresses all exceed the highest
California flame retardancy standards set into place in January 2005.
